This audio CD contains 60 minutes of unedited natural sound from the waterways.  It was digitally recorded in stereo between 4am and 5am on Sunday, 12th May, 2002. at Ham Lock, near Newbury on the Kennet and Avon Canal.

It captures the early morning 'dawn chorus' of many of our mostpoular birds.  Their song heralded a dry, warm and sunny day.  In the distance, the gentle sound of water can be heard flowing through the gates of the lock and over the nearby weir at Ham Manor.

Put the CD in your player, sit back, close your eyes and imagine that you are walking along the towpath towards a bright sunny day....
